Q: What is Nonconformity? What is the genre/possible audience/rating?

• ​A: My personal OC story inspired by geology and rock music! Genre are drama-comedy, teen (parody) sitcom, and slapstick. Rating is PG-13 for crude humor, cartoon violence, and swearing. A nonconformity in general terms is the refusal to conform to mainstream society, but it is also a geological term to describe the placement of sedimentary rock layers on top of igneous/metamorphic rocks! I like to shorten it to NONCO. (Please don't shorten it to anything else... <:] )

Q: What is Nonco about?

• A: Some rock kids from a rock town, playing rock music in rock bands to totally rock! The story mainly centers around Clay, a 16 year old boy from the (fictional) town of Granite Heights, TX, and his panicked formation of a punk rock band with his close friends, Grant and Jade, in order to impress a girl he met at a rock show (Juliet). Now his newly formed rock band Nonconformity, must work to become the best band in town in preparations for the upcoming Battle of the Bands event, all while dealing with demons from the mantle, broken relationships, and loads of homework...none of these that Clay asked to be involved in!

Q: What is the setting of Nonco?

• A: In a fictional town called Granite Heights. It is located somewhere in the Texas Hill Country, near Austin. It can be described somewhat as a fusion of Austin, San Antonio, and Houston and its surrounding areas, but the actual size of the town is generally small; it's not a big city!

Q: Cool! Will you ever turn it into a cartoon/webcomic/game/etc.?

• A: Ehh, I'm not super interested in turning my OC story into something for mass media. A webcomic maybe, (if I ever stop being lazy haha) but I currently don't see anything else in Nonco's near future related to this. I'm happy that you like my OCs and appreciate your enthusiasm! But please understand these are my very personal OCs, and as much as I like to share them with the world, they are not...created, or optimized, for mass media consumption.

Q: Can I create a fan character for Nonco?

• A: Sure! Just message me personally for my explicit permission, and a set of guidelines to creating your own fan OC! (JSYK repeats of rocks/minerals are OK.)

​Q: Can I create fan content for Nonco? (fan art, fan fic, etc.)

• A: Absolutely!  Please show me it too! All I ask is to PLEASE keep it SFW (SAFE FOR WORK). Rule of thumb is if it's not something you can explain to your grandma or a room full of kids, then please don't do it. The only exception to this is swearing and CARTOON violence.
